ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain management techniques can help women with type 2 diabetes who are experiencing problems with urination and poor sleep. The research involves 150 women aged between 50 and 79 years who have been diagnosed with diabetes for at least three months and have experienced at least one issue related to urination or sleep in the past month. The goal is to see if specific programs focused on improving bladder health and sleep can lead to better quality of life for these women.
Participants in the trial will be randomly placed into one of three groups. Two groups will receive different types of support over four months, including exercises to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and strategies to improve sleep. The third group will receive some basic information but will not get the same level of support until the study is finished. Throughout the trial, participants will fill out questionnaires and use a special watch-like device to track their activity and sleep patterns. This study aims to find out if the support given to the two active groups leads to significant improvements compared to the group that receives only basic information. If you meet the eligibility criteria and are interested, this could be a great opportunity to help improve your health and well-being.
