ClinConnect Summary
**Summary of the Clinical Trial: Nationwide Study of Artificial Intelligence in Adenoma Detection for Colonoscopy**
This clinical trial is looking into how a special computer program, called Computer Assisted Detection (CADe), can help doctors find polyps in the colon during colonoscopy exams. Polyps are growths in the colon that can sometimes develop into cancer. The main goal of the study is to see if using this technology can improve the detection rate of these polyps, which is important for preventing colorectal cancer.
If you are between the ages of 18 and 85 and are scheduled for a colonoscopy, you might be eligible to participate in this study. However, if your colonoscopy is specifically for monitoring existing polyps, or if you cannot give your consent, you wouldn't be able to join. If you do participate, you can expect to have your colonoscopy done as usual, but with the added support of the CADe program to help doctors identify any polyps. This is a great opportunity to contribute to important research that could improve colon cancer screening in the future.
