**Clinical Trial Summary: Palliative Care and Oncology Survey on Terminology**
This clinical trial is studying how different groups of cancer patients understand the term "cancer survivors." The term can mean different things to different people, including those currently receiving treatment and those who are no longer in treatment. Understanding these views is important because it could affect how patients receive care. The study will involve about 3,830 patients from countries like Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK, and the USA, who are either receiving palliative care or undergoing anti-cancer treatments.
To participate, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a diagnosis of cancer, and be able to read and speak English well enough to complete a survey. The survey will take less than 30 minutes during a single visit and will ask questions about how patients feel about the terminology used to describe their experiences. This research aims to gather important insights from patients, which could help improve care services for cancer patients in the future. If you or someone you know fits this description, participating in this trial could provide a valuable opportunity to share your thoughts and experiences.
