ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how sleep affects memory in adults who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Researchers want to understand the differences in sleep patterns between adults with ADHD and those who are healthy. They will use a special test called polysomnography, which records brain activity during sleep, to look at how well sleep helps with memory in these individuals.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 18 and 45 years old and be part of the French healthcare system. Those with ADHD must meet specific diagnostic criteria and not be on any medication for their condition. Healthy volunteers must not have any issues with sleep or memory. Participants can expect to undergo sleep testing, where their brain activity will be monitored overnight. It's important to note that individuals with certain health conditions, like untreated sleep apnea or major depression, cannot participate. This study aims to provide insights that could help improve understanding and treatment of sleep issues in people with ADHD.
