ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating a method called auricular acupressure (AA) to help people who are struggling with drug abuse. AA is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves applying pressure to specific points on the ear to reduce withdrawal symptoms. The goal of the study is to see if nursing students can effectively teach this technique to drug abusers, helping them manage their cravings and improve their chances of recovery.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have used drugs in the last 30 days, and be able to communicate in Cantonese and read Chinese. However, if you have unstable mental health issues or have received acupuncture or acupressure treatment in the last month, you won't be eligible to join. If you do participate, you can expect to learn about AA and how it might help you in your journey toward recovery. The study is currently looking for participants, and your involvement could contribute to important research that helps others facing similar challenges.
