ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new treatment approach for people suffering from chronic neck pain. The main goal is to see if using augmented reality (a technology that superimposes digital images onto the real world) for 2-4 weeks can help reduce pain and improve neck function. Additionally, researchers want to find out if a technique called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can enhance the benefits of this augmented reality training. They will use various questionnaires and assessments to measure any changes in pain and function after the training.
To be eligible for this study, participants must have a diagnosis of chronic neck pain. However, those with severe pain in other areas, certain medical conditions that prevent the use of rTMS, or psychological issues that might affect understanding are not eligible. The trial is currently looking for up to 40 participants who will try out these new treatment methods, which could lead to more extensive studies in the future. If you or someone you know is dealing with chronic neck pain, this trial might be a helpful opportunity to explore a new way to find relief.
