**IMAGINED Trial Summary**
The IMAGINED Trial is a research study aimed at finding out if new types of MRI software and techniques can help doctors detect prostate cancer earlier during a specific procedure called an MRI-guided prostate biopsy. This study is currently looking for male participants who are scheduled to have this biopsy, which is a way for doctors to take samples from the prostate to check for cancer.
To join the trial, you must be selected to undergo an MRI-fusion prostate needle biopsy and be able to give your permission to participate. However, if you have already been diagnosed with a more serious form of prostate cancer, have had treatment for prostate cancer before, or cannot safely undergo a biopsy, you would not be eligible. Participants in this trial can expect to help researchers learn more about improving prostate cancer detection, which could lead to better outcomes for patients in the future.
