ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how training nursing students in sexual health can improve their knowledge and attitudes towards providing sexual health care. The study will use a well-known framework called the PLISSIT model, which helps nurses talk to patients about sexual health issues. Fourth-year nursing students from Marmara University will participate in this study, where half will receive special training on the PLISSIT model, while the other half will continue with their regular training. Researchers will collect information before the training, right after, and three months later to see if the training made a difference.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be senior nursing students who can speak and understand Turkish well and have access to the internet and a device like a computer or smartphone. They need to be willing to join the research and participate fully in the training. The trial is set to begin between December 2023 and March 2024, and ethical approval has already been obtained to ensure everything is conducted properly.
