ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new way to help injured nerves heal better using electrical stimulation therapy. The researchers want to find out if this therapy can improve recovery after surgery for nerve injuries in the arm. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive the electrical stimulation during their surgery along with standard care, while the other group will only receive the usual care.

To be eligible for this trial, you need to be between 18 and 80 years old and have a specific type of nerve injury in your upper arm that requires surgery. You must also be able to sign an informed consent form. Participants can expect to receive standard treatment for their injury, plus the additional electrical stimulation if they are in the treatment group. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, and it’s important to note that certain health conditions may prevent someone from participating, such as serious heart problems or being pregnant.
