ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding better ways to identify eating disorders in pregnant women. Eating disorders can be hard to detect during pregnancy, and this study aims to create a specific tool to help healthcare providers tell the difference between normal pregnancy-related dietary concerns and actual eating disorders. The researchers will compare responses from pregnant women who have been diagnosed with eating disorders to those who do not have these disorders, using two questionnaires called the SCOFF-F and EDE-Q.
To participate in the study, you need to be an adult woman who is currently pregnant and can speak French. You can join whether or not you have an eating disorder, but you should not be underage or have a history of eating disorders from the past. If you decide to take part, you will help researchers understand how to better recognize eating disorders in pregnant women, which is crucial for ensuring that both mothers and their babies receive the right care during pregnancy.
