ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a method called External Cephalic Version (ECV) for women who are pregnant with twins. Specifically, it focuses on cases where the first twin is not positioned head-down, which is the ideal position for delivery. The goal of the trial is to see if ECV can help turn this non-head-down twin into the correct position before delivery, potentially allowing for a safer vaginal birth.
To be eligible for this trial, women should be at least 18 years old, have had previous pregnancies (but not a cesarean delivery), and be carrying twins that are at least 37 weeks along in a specific type of pregnancy called dichorionic diamniotic (which means each twin has their own placenta and amniotic sac). Participants can expect to receive care from medical professionals trained in ECV, and they will be closely monitored during the process. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria and is interested, it might be worth looking into!
