ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Weight Management Intervention in College: a Pilot Study," is looking at ways to help college students who are overweight or obese manage their weight. The study aims to develop a program that encourages small changes in behavior to support weight loss while making sure students find the program acceptable and easy to follow. If you're a college student with a body mass index (BMI) of 25 or higher, you may be eligible to participate.
To join the study, you need to be enrolled at the college where the research is taking place and be comfortable communicating in English. However, if you have a history of certain eating disorders, have participated in another weight loss program recently, or are currently pregnant, you wouldn't be able to take part. Participants can expect to engage in a supportive environment focused on making manageable lifestyle changes to help with weight loss. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to research that could help improve weight management strategies for college students!
