ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how special training can help young people understand themselves better and improve their self-esteem. Researchers believe that having a good sense of self and being aware of one's thoughts and feelings are important for mental well-being, especially during the teenage years when self-awareness is developing. To help with this, the study uses a Virtual Reality (VR) tool called "Explore Your Meanings" (EYME). This immersive experience allows participants to explore their own identities in a safe and supportive setting. The goal is to see if this training can enhance their understanding of themselves, leading to better mental health and relationships with others.
The trial is open to volunteers aged 18 to 29 who do not have any current mental health disorders or treatments. Participants can expect to engage in VR sessions that will guide them through personal reflections and skill-building exercises. By the end of the study, researchers hope to find that participants have a clearer sense of who they are, improved thinking about their thoughts, and a better understanding of their self-worth. If you're interested in exploring your personal development in a unique way, this trial might be a great opportunity for you!
