ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the NeuREHA study, is investigating a treatment program known as "Hand-arm Bimanual Intensive Therapy Including Lower Extremities" (HABIT-ILE) for children who have suffered an acquired brain injury. The goal is to see how this therapy can help improve daily activities, movement skills, and thinking abilities in children aged 5 to 18 years. The trial is currently looking for participants who meet specific criteria, such as being of school age and having an acquired brain injury, while those with certain medical conditions or recent surgeries are not eligible.
If your child is eligible and chooses to participate, they will engage in the HABIT-ILE therapy in a hospital setting, where their progress will be monitored. This study aims to provide valuable insights into how this treatment can support children in their daily lives after a brain injury. The research team is committed to ensuring a supportive environment, and participants will have the opportunity to contribute to important findings that may benefit future patients.
