ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new mobile app called "My Breastfeeding Guide," which aims to help new mothers feel more confident about breastfeeding and strengthen their bond with their babies. The app is based on established theories that focus on how to promote health and self-efficacy, meaning it helps mothers believe in their ability to breastfeed successfully. Pregnant women in their last trimester (at least 32 weeks along) who meet specific criteria, such as being able to read and understand Turkish and having access to a smartphone with internet, can participate in the study.
Participants will be divided into two groups: one will use the breastfeeding app while the other will receive standard care without the app. Throughout the study, researchers will collect information on various aspects of breastfeeding and maternal attachment to see how effective the app is. If you or someone you know is eligible and interested, this could be a great opportunity to gain support and resources during the important transition to motherhood.
