ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Diversity in Patients With OAB," is exploring how different people with Overactive Bladder (OAB) - a condition that causes frequent urges to urinate - prefer various treatment options. OAB affects many adults, and while initial treatments usually involve lifestyle changes and medications, some patients may need additional options like Botox injections or a device that helps control bladder function. This study aims to understand how personal factors such as culture or language might influence patients' choices between these treatments.
To participate, you should be an adult diagnosed with OAB and have not previously received Botox or sacral neuromodulation treatment. If you join, you'll complete a questionnaire that collects basic information about you and asks about your treatment preferences. The researchers want to ensure that all voices are heard, so the questionnaire will be available in multiple languages. This study is important because it could help healthcare providers offer more personalized treatment options that align with each patient's unique needs and preferences.
