ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring new ways to help people recover from strokes using exciting technology like Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) combined with a treatment called Mirror Therapy (MT). The goal is to see if these new methods can help improve movement and function in the arms of stroke patients, compared to traditional therapy methods. Researchers will create and test these VR and MR systems, gather feedback from users about their experiences, and learn which patients might benefit the most based on their initial motor skills and mental visualization abilities.

To participate in this study, you need to be between 20 and 80 years old and have had a stroke affecting one side of your body at least six months ago. You should also be able to follow instructions and communicate your thoughts about the experience. However, individuals with certain conditions like severe speech difficulties or other serious health issues that affect movement or perception will not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to use innovative technology in your rehabilitation and contribute to important research that may help others in the future.
