ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is designed to help caregivers of patients with advanced cancer, specifically those whose loved ones have stage IV solid tumors. The goal is to understand the experiences and emotional well-being of these caregivers and to develop a brief treatment program aimed at improving their positive feelings and overall mental health. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but when it does, it will welcome both men and women aged 18 and older who have been living with the cancer patient for more than six months.

To be eligible for the trial, caregivers must be able to read and speak English and have access to a phone or the internet for participating in the study activities. They will need to give their consent to be part of the study and be willing to follow its procedures. However, caregivers who are currently receiving therapy, or those who may be vulnerable due to certain conditions, will not be able to participate. If you join this study, you can expect to engage in activities aimed at improving your emotional well-being while sharing your experiences as a caregiver, which can help shape better support for others in similar situations.
