ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how the attitudes and beliefs of physical therapists about checking vital signs, like blood pressure and heart rate, have changed since the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic, research showed that many physical therapists did not assess these important health indicators effectively, which is concerning, especially with the rise of long COVID and its potential effects on heart and lung health. The study aims to see if the pandemic has made physical therapists more aware and proactive about monitoring these vital signs in their patients.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be licensed physical therapists who are currently practicing in a clinical setting and have at least five years of experience. The study is open to all genders and is actively recruiting participants. Those who join will help researchers understand the current attitudes towards vital sign assessment among physical therapists, which could lead to improved patient care in the future.
