ClinConnect Summary
The Synovial Sarcoma Registry and Biospecimen Repository is a clinical trial aimed at improving the care and outcomes for patients with synovial sarcoma, a type of cancer. The study will collect important information and samples, like leftover tumor tissue and blood or saliva, to help researchers understand this disease better. Participants will need to share their medical records and complete questionnaires about their health history. They may also be contacted every 6 to 12 months for updates over a period of up to 10 years.
To be eligible for this study, you must have a diagnosis of synovial sarcoma and be willing to give informed consent (if you're 18 or older) or have a parent or guardian provide consent for you. Anyone of any age and gender can participate as long as they meet these criteria. It’s important to note that individuals with other types of sarcomas or those who do not wish to participate will not be included. This research aims to gather valuable data that could lead to better treatments for future patients.
