ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how to create a detailed 3D model of the knee using MRI scans for patients with a torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament), a common injury, especially among athletes. The goal is to see if these 3D models can help doctors plan surgeries better and assess how well the surgery went afterwards. Unlike traditional methods that may involve more radiation, using MRI can provide a safer way to visualize the knee's internal structures without exposing patients to harmful rays.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 18 and 45 years old and must be scheduled for ACL reconstruction surgery. They should have had an MRI done at a specific orthopedic center at least three weeks after their injury. Additionally, participants must be French-speaking and able to provide informed consent. Those with prior knee surgeries on the same knee or other complex injuries will not be included. If you join the study, you can expect to contribute to important research that might improve treatment for future patients with similar injuries.
