ClinConnect Summary
The FAMILY INHERITANCE trial is part of the Stanislas Cohort study, which aims to understand how our genes and environment affect the risk of heart and kidney diseases. This study started in the 1990s with over a thousand families, and now, during its fifth visit, researchers are looking to gather more information on how people age in relation to these diseases. They want to see how a person's genetic makeup and lifestyle choices might play a role in developing heart or kidney problems as they get older.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be over 18 years old and must have previously taken part in the Stanislas Cohort. They also need to be covered by a social security plan and must understand the details of the research, agreeing to participate by signing a consent form. If you join this study, you can expect to provide information about your health and lifestyle, which will help researchers gain important insights into cardiovascular health and prevention strategies. It’s a chance to contribute to valuable research that could benefit many people in the future!
