ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective targeted physiotherapy is for people with recent ankle injuries compared to standard physiotherapy. The researchers want to find out if using diagnostic ultrasonography—an ultrasound technique that helps visualize the ankle structures—can lead to better recovery outcomes. They believe that by tailoring physiotherapy based on the ultrasound findings, patients may experience fewer complications, such as pain or instability, after their injury.
To participate, you should be between 15 and 65 years old and have had an ankle injury within the last 6 weeks. You also need to be able to commit to outpatient physiotherapy sessions and be willing to work with the healthcare team. If you join the study, you can expect regular physiotherapy sessions, and you’ll be part of a group that receives either the specialized treatment based on ultrasound or the standard care. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and your participation could help improve treatments for ankle injuries in the future!
