ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at whether patients who have had a lung transplant can be monitored remotely using an app and a special questionnaire, instead of going to the hospital for check-ups every few months. The goal is to see if this remote monitoring can help detect any health issues early, while also making care more convenient for patients. The study will involve 100 lung transplant recipients, with half receiving the usual hospital care and the other half using the remote monitoring system.

To participate, you need to be a patient at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, have given your consent, and have received a lung transplant. If you join the trial, you will either continue with your regular check-ups or use the app to track your health from home. This approach could make it easier for you to manage your health without frequent long visits to the hospital.
