ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how systematic screening and early treatment can improve the quality of life for women who have been diagnosed with certain types of gynecological cancers, such as ovarian, cervical, and endometrial cancer. The study will use online questionnaires to check for common aftereffects of cancer treatment, like swelling in the lower limbs, anxiety, sexual difficulties, and weight loss. Women who are eligible for the study must be at least 18 years old and preparing for surgery for their cancer.
Participants will use a free app on their mobile devices to complete these screenings. If any issues are detected, they will receive early treatment from specialists. This group will be compared to a standard care group that only receives treatment as needed. The goal is to see if early intervention can lead to a better overall experience and improved quality of life for these patients. The study is not yet recruiting, so those interested will need to wait for further announcements.
