ClinConnect Summary
The Evelina London Children's Hospital is conducting a clinical trial to improve care for children with special health care needs. The goal of the study is to understand how parents and healthcare staff feel about a new support system that includes family support workers to help coordinate care and 'navigation' packs that provide important information about services for both families and providers. By talking to parents and healthcare professionals through interviews, the study aims to gather valuable insights on how these new resources can better support children and their families.
To participate in this trial, you should be a parent or caregiver of a child with special health care needs, or a staff member who works with these children. Unfortunately, people under 18 years old or those who cannot understand or speak English are not eligible to join. If you take part in this study, you can expect to share your experiences and thoughts in a friendly conversation with a researcher. Your feedback will be important in shaping better care for children who need it the most.
