ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking for ways to help young people who are at high risk for suicide by using digital tools, especially through their smartphones. With suicide being a serious issue and the second leading cause of death among youth in the U.S., researchers believe that technology can help us understand and address the problems these young people face, such as feelings of sadness, lack of interest in activities, and sleep issues. The goal is to create a digital platform that allows healthcare providers to better track and support these individuals, making it easier to communicate and deliver care.
To take part in this study, participants need to be between 13 and 18 years old, currently receiving treatment at a specific program for mental health, and have their own smartphone. They should also be able to read and understand English. Participants will be asked to share information about their thoughts and feelings through their smartphones, which will help doctors provide more tailored support. This trial is currently recruiting, and it's important to note that young people who need more intensive care or already have a clinician assigned will not be eligible.
