Pregnancy Outcomes Topographic Classification Placenta Accreta

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called the "Placenta Accreta Spectrum Topographic Classification," is studying a condition known as placenta accreta, which occurs when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. The researchers are looking to understand how different categories of this condition affect pregnancy outcomes. They will gather information from women who have been diagnosed with placenta accreta before or during surgery and see how their cases fit into a new classification system. This will help doctors better understand and manage the condition.

To be eligible for the trial, participants must be pregnant women over 18 years old who have been diagnosed with placenta accreta through an ultrasound or MRI. They should require surgery for their condition, either planned or urgent. There are no specific exclusions for this study, meaning most women with the diagnosis can participate. If you join the trial, you will undergo a surgical procedure, and doctors will apply the new classification system to your case. This study aims not only to gather valuable information but also to see how well this classification is accepted by doctors who specialize in women's health.
