ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on a tool called the MAP-BC Evaluation Tool, which is used to assess myofascial adhesions—tight areas in muscles and tissues—in women who have been treated for breast cancer. The researchers are working to translate this evaluation tool into Turkish, making it more accessible for Turkish-speaking patients. They want to find out if different researchers using this tool get similar results when assessing patients in Turkey and if the results correlate well with another assessment tool that looks at scars after surgery.
To be eligible for the study, women aged 18 to 75 who have undergone breast surgery due to cancer can participate, as long as they agree to join the study. Participants will help researchers understand how well this new Turkish version of the evaluation tool works. It’s important to note that women with ongoing skin infections or those with advanced breast cancer might not be able to take part. This trial aims to ensure that the tool is reliable and useful for women recovering from breast cancer in Turkey.
