ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special digital game can help children with Type 1 Diabetes (T1DM) manage their condition better. The researchers want to see if playing this game can improve their blood sugar control, boost their confidence in handling their diabetes, and enhance their overall quality of life. The study is currently looking for children between the ages of 8 and 13 who have been diagnosed with T1DM for at least six months, can read and write in Turkish, and have access to the internet and a device like a computer or tablet.
Children who join the trial will play the digital game and participate in activities that aim to help them learn more about managing their diabetes in a fun way. To participate, they should not have any other serious health conditions besides T1DM. This research could offer valuable insights into new ways to support young patients with diabetes, making it easier for them to live healthier, happier lives.
