ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how to best assess the motor skills of people who have had a stroke, specifically by using a test called the Box and Block Test. The main goal is to determine how many attempts at each part of this test should be done to get accurate results for individuals aged 20 to 64 who have experienced a stroke. By understanding this, healthcare providers can improve the way they evaluate motor activity in stroke patients.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be between 20 and 64 years old and have had a stroke. They should be able to sit up on their own for at least 15 minutes and can move a small cube using both their dominant and non-dominant hands. Participants will be recruited from the General University Hospital in Prague and will need to agree to the study and the use of their personal data. If someone has severe hearing or vision problems that can't be corrected, or if they have trouble understanding instructions, they may not be eligible for the study. Participants can expect to complete the testing while they are hospitalized at the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital, contributing valuable information that could help improve stroke rehabilitation practices.
