ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new program called "Using the Connect" (UTC), which is a fun, game-based way to help middle school students in Texas make healthier choices about their bodies and relationships. The goal is to reduce the number of teen pregnancies and promote better health by encouraging young people to wait before becoming sexually active. Researchers will work with schools and community organizations to see how effective this program is in changing students' attitudes and behaviors regarding sexual activity.
To participate, youth must be in middle school and able to read and complete surveys in English. They will take part in games and activities designed to help them think about their decisions related to sex and health. The trial is currently looking for participants, and it's a great opportunity for teens to learn important life skills while also contributing to important research aimed at improving the health of their peers.
