ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an adapted physical activity program (APA) designed to help children and teenagers with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a condition that makes bones fragile and more likely to break. The program lasts for six months and aims to improve the children's endurance, which is measured by how much oxygen their bodies can use during exercise. The researchers want to see if this type of exercise can help these young people become stronger and more active.
To join the study, participants must be diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta and have permission from a parent or guardian. The trial is open to both boys and girls aged between 2 and 18 years who can walk. Unfortunately, children who cannot walk, are pregnant, or are currently involved in other research studies cannot participate. Those who join can expect to engage in a specially designed exercise program that could help them improve their physical abilities and overall well-being. This is a great opportunity for families looking to support their child's health in a fun and engaging way!
