ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective two different treatments—Manual Therapy and Cognitive Exercise Therapy—are for people who experience headaches related to temporomandibular disorders (TMD). TMD can cause pain in the jaw, face, and even the ears, and sometimes leads to headaches. The researchers want to find out if these therapies can help reduce pain and improve the quality of life for patients suffering from these issues.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 60 years old and have been diagnosed with TMD-related headaches. You should have been experiencing pain for at least six months and have a certain level of headache impact. If you’ve had any specific treatments or surgeries recently, or if you take certain medications, you might not be eligible. Participants can expect to receive either of the therapies being studied, and they will be monitored throughout the trial. This could be a great opportunity for individuals looking for relief from their TMD-related headaches.
