ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to support informal caregivers—those who provide unpaid care—to people with dementia. The study aims to see if using e-bibliotherapy, which involves reading and learning through online resources, can help improve the mental health and well-being of these caregivers. They will compare the effects of this approach with a control group that does not receive the e-bibliotherapy.
To participate in the trial, caregivers need to be at least 18 years old and have been caring for someone with mild to moderate dementia for at least six months. They should also be able to help with daily activities, use a smartphone or tablet, and read Chinese. Caregivers who have serious health issues or are currently involved in other studies will not be eligible. If chosen for the trial, participants can expect to engage with online materials designed to support their mental health and connect with other caregivers facing similar challenges.
