ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a specific procedure called sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) to see how effective it is in diagnosing early-stage ovarian cancer compared to a more traditional method called systematic lymphadenectomy. The goal is to understand which method works better for women with a suspicious mass on their ovaries, which could indicate early-stage cancer.

To be eligible for this study, participants need to be women aged between 18 and 75 who have a suspicious mass that could be early-stage ovarian cancer and are healthy enough for surgery. Those who may not qualify include individuals with a low chance of having early-stage ovarian cancer or those with more advanced cancer. If you choose to participate, you will undergo the SLNB procedure, and the results will be compared to those from participants who undergo the traditional method. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to important research in ovarian cancer treatment.
