ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving the process of removing subcutaneous contraceptive implants, which are small devices placed under the skin to prevent pregnancy. Sometimes, these implants can be too deep or have moved, making them difficult to remove in a regular doctor's office. In such cases, women may need to have the implants taken out in an operating room. The researchers want to share their techniques for locating and safely removing these implants to help other medical professionals learn.
To be eligible for this trial, women must be over 18 years old and have had a subcutaneous contraceptive implant removed in a gynecology operating room between 2018 and 2022. Participants will not only contribute to improving medical practices but will also receive care from experts during the procedure. It's important to know that this study is currently recruiting participants, and those who join will help advance the understanding of how to manage difficult implant removals effectively.
