ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to check for leftover cancer DNA in patients who have had surgery to remove squamous cell carcinoma from the mouth. The researchers want to see if testing for this DNA in the area where the tumor was removed can provide important information about the cancer and help improve treatment decisions.
To be part of the study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have a specific type of oral cancer that can be treated with surgery. They also need to be signed up for a social security plan. However, some people won't be able to join, such as those who have had previous radiation to the neck, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have certain mental or social challenges. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon for those who might be interested in taking part.
