ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to help patients who need bone restoration in the back of the jaw, especially before getting dental implants. Researchers are creating customized bone blocks using advanced imaging and digital design techniques to ensure a perfect fit for each patient's unique bone shape. This method aims to improve bone healing and reduce complications during surgery, making the overall experience smoother and more successful.
To participate in this study, individuals should be healthy adults aged 18 or older who need at least two dental implants in the back of their jaw. Participants will undergo a series of procedures, starting with the placement of these specially designed bone blocks, followed by check-ups to monitor healing and progress. After about four months, they will have another procedure to place the dental implants. It’s important to note that those with certain health issues, such as untreated infections or specific medical conditions, may not be eligible. Overall, this trial seeks to enhance the success of dental implants and improve patient outcomes.
