ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking into how effective two different interventions are for people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The study will compare an active treatment using a technique called ccPAS with a sham treatment that does not have therapeutic effects. The goal is to see which method helps reduce impulsivity and improve overall mental health in individuals with BPD.

To participate in this trial, you need to be diagnosed with BPD, confirmed by a psychiatrist using a structured interview. Unfortunately, some people may not qualify, such as those who have certain medical devices like pacemakers, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals currently taking specific medications for anxiety or other mental health issues. If eligible, participants can expect to take part in a study designed to find better ways to manage BPD symptoms, with all procedures conducted safely and under careful supervision. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and they welcome individuals of all genders between the ages of 65 to 74.
