ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring the use of a digital health tool, called KOKU-Nut, to help older adults improve their nutrition and hydration. The goal is to see if it's practical to conduct a larger study that could ultimately help older people who may be struggling with malnutrition or dehydration. Participants in the study will be adults aged 65 and older who live independently and have internet access. They will need to engage with the KOKU-Nut tool at least three times a week for 12 weeks. There will also be a control group that will receive standard care and a leaflet about healthy living.
If you or a loved one are interested in participating, you would need to be comfortable using an iPad or tablet for online activities, and you should be able to communicate in English. The study will provide support if you encounter any technical issues. After the 12-week period, there will be a brief interview to gather feedback on your experience. This trial aims to gather important information that could lead to better nutritional support for older adults in the future.
