ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how our senses work together when we touch different surfaces. Researchers want to understand how the brain combines what we feel with what we hear and see. This is important for creating better technology that can help everyone, especially people with visual impairments. The study will involve activities where participants explore textures or screens while experiencing sounds and visuals at the same time. The goal is to see if this combination helps people better understand shapes and textures.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old, have normal hearing and vision (or corrected vision), and be able to give consent. You'll take part in some activities where you'll feel different textures and respond to sounds and visuals. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it could help improve technologies that rely on how our senses work together. If you have any significant neurological issues or are on certain medications, you may not be eligible to join.
