ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how changing daily habits related to light exposure and eating can help improve health in people who are overweight or obese and don’t get enough sleep. The study will involve two groups: one group will follow specific guidelines aimed at reducing light exposure at night and limiting snacks after dinner, while the other group will receive general health information about exercise and eating well. Researchers hope to find out if these changes can positively affect conditions like type 2 diabetes and improve overall health.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 45 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 34.9, and usually sleep less than 6.5 hours a night. However, if you have certain health conditions, take specific medications, or have recently changed your weight significantly, you may not be eligible. If you decide to join, you'll be part of a study that aims to help people make healthier lifestyle choices. Your involvement could contribute to valuable insights about improving health for many individuals facing similar challenges.
