ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a dental treatment called the glass-ionomer sealing technique, which aims to help children and teenagers with sensitive teeth affected by a condition known as Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH). The researchers want to see how well this technique works to reduce sensitivity in specific molars shortly after treatment and again after three months. The trial is currently looking for participants who are experiencing tooth sensitivity and meet certain criteria, such as being healthy children or adolescents without other serious health issues.
To be eligible for this study, participants should have sensitive molars affected by MIH and should not have received any other treatments for their sensitive teeth in the month before joining. The study is open to all genders and focuses on individuals aged between 2 and 6 years old. If you or your child decide to participate, you can expect to receive the glass-ionomer sealing treatment, and then the researchers will check how well it works shortly after and again after three months. This is a great opportunity to help improve dental care for sensitive teeth while contributing to valuable research.
