ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Testing the ETM," is studying different ways to examine and compare methods related to cigarette smoking, specifically looking at how people buy tobacco products both in a lab setting and from home. The goal is to understand how these different approaches affect the decisions people make about purchasing tobacco.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 21 years old, have been using tobacco consistently for the last three months (smoking at least 5 cigarettes a day), and have access to a computer and the internet. It's important that you are not planning to quit smoking in the near future and do not have any serious health issues or are currently using medications to help quit smoking. If you decide to join, you will help researchers learn more about tobacco use patterns and how different purchasing methods might influence smokers. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome regardless of gender.
