ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the size of ovarian follicles affects the quality of embryos created during in vitro fertilization (IVF). Specifically, researchers want to understand how different sizes of follicles influence the expression of microRNAs in the culture media of blastocysts, which are early-stage embryos. By examining these factors, the study aims to improve IVF outcomes for women.
To participate in this trial, women aged 20 to 38 who are planning to undergo IVF may be eligible if they have a certain number of follicles of a specific size and a body mass index (BMI) below 30. However, women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, or severe male infertility issues are not eligible. Participants can expect to contribute to important research that may enhance our understanding of embryo development, which could lead to better IVF success rates in the future. The study is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested, this could be a great opportunity to help advance fertility treatments.
