ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different approaches to help patients recover from shoulder surgery: neurofeedback training (NFT) and a pain management protocol (PMP). The goal is to see which method is more effective in reducing pain, improving shoulder movement, and enhancing mental performance during rehabilitation after surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should have had shoulder pain for at least three months and experience pain at least three days a week with a moderate to high intensity. Importantly, those who have had shoulder surgery in the last three years or have certain medical conditions, such as widespread chronic pain or neurological diseases, will not be able to join the study. Participants in both groups will need to avoid other treatments during the six to twelve weeks they are in the trial. Overall, this research aims to find the best ways to help people heal and regain their shoulder function after surgery.
