ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using a nasal spray made from isotonic seawater can help improve breathing for healthy athletes. When athletes exercise, they often experience nasal obstruction, which makes it harder to breathe and can affect their performance. The researchers want to find out if rinsing the nose with this seawater solution can enhance airflow and reduce the feeling of nasal blockage during physical activity.
To participate in the study, individuals need to be healthy adult athletes aged 18 to 35. However, those with recent nasal infections, significant nasal deformities, or who have had nose surgery within the last month won't be eligible. Participants will be asked to use the nasal spray and share their experiences regarding their breathing during exercise. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to learn more about how this simple treatment might help athletes breathe better while they train or compete.
