ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a specific surgical procedure called endoscopic ilio-psoas tenotomy, which is designed to help people suffering from a condition known as iliopsoas tendinopathy. This condition occurs when the tendon in the hip is irritated, often due to friction with a hip implant. The goal of the study is to see how well this surgery improves patients' hip function over time, measured using a scoring system called the Oxford Hip Score at the start of the study, after two months, and again after more than a year.

To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have a confirmed diagnosis of iliopsoas tendinopathy that hasn't improved with other treatments, and be planning to undergo the endoscopic surgery. The trial is open to all genders and is currently recruiting participants. It's important to note that if you have had multiple surgeries on your hip or are pregnant, you would not be eligible to take part in this study. If you join, you can expect to receive care and assessments aimed at understanding how well the surgery works for improving your hip function.
