ClinConnect Summary
The Turkey Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) Disease Registry is a research study that aims to gather information about patients with a condition called aTTP, which affects blood clotting and can lead to serious health issues. This study will involve 21 hematology centers across Turkey, with a goal of enrolling 960 patients. Participants will be followed for at least one year to monitor their health and treatment responses. The study is observational, meaning researchers will collect data on patients' medical histories, diagnoses, and treatments, but participants won't receive any experimental treatments.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with aTTP since January 1, 2015. They should have specific blood test results that indicate their condition. If you choose to participate, you can expect regular follow-ups with your healthcare team, who will gather information about your health over the course of the study. It's important to know that you will need to give your consent to join, and your involvement will help researchers better understand this condition and improve future treatments for others.
